The Color Green

Just like last semester, the sophomore illustration students got to be a part of the Say Yes program, and illustrate poems and short stories for elementary school students in Syracuse, NY. I chose the multiple poems based on the color green. They involved green leaves, apples, and a happy leprechaun, and here is my interpretation of it for the book. Done in pen and ink with watercolor.

Adam and Eve

My last assignment of the semester for my Intro to Illustration class was Adam and Eve. We were allowed to do anything we wanted or any type of interpretation of it. Being influenced by the humor of illustrator John Cuneo, I came up with the idea that God made Adam and Eve for his own pleasure. I used pen and ink with watercolor.
